Lummi Nation

The Lummi Nation Library is integrated with the Northwest Indian College Library serving the needs of tribal members and college students who are significantly represented as members of the tribal community. The library seeks to enhance its collection development. Selection of materials will be made with community input, including that of the Lummi Nation School library specialist, and the Whatcom County Library Systems’ youth services librarians. Review sources and specialist catalogs will also be consulted. This project will feature support for the coverage of expenses related to courses, workshops, and other forms of training for library staff. This project will support the coverage of expenses related to staff participation at professional conferences.
