Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation

The Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation seeks to maintain and sustain its current efforts to strengthen the language, culture, and community through its tribal library at its new Ogden office. This project will ensure that the library w can strengthen its current efforts to support its young people and families. The project will focus on resource development and youth, elder, and community support. To support its youth, this project seeks to increase access to culturally relevant materials and hold community library events. This project will allow the library to purchase more Shoshone educational materials for its library, provide hands on storytelling and culture-sharing events with our elders, and increase access to Shoshone language and culture through these activities.
