San Carlos Apache Tribe

The San Carlos Apache College will partner with the San Carlos Public Library to produce, store, and distribute cultural lunar calendars to community members. The calendars include highly detailed and practical materials regarding ancestral Apache knowledge and practice and will be produced in collaboration with graphic artists to use and preserve key cultural knowledge. The project will fund the creation of 600 high quality cultural lunar calendars and will also include library-hosted events to showcase and discuss the calendars with and for community members. This work continues to bring the community and college libraries together for resource sharing and increased collaboration.
