Chilkat Indian Village

The Chilkat Indian Village will purchase archival materials and support a portion of staff salaries to expand its archival collection of tribal documents, photos, and audiovisual materials and make those materials more accessible to the community. Library staff will deliver workshops based on the community’s interest and will use funds to pay workshop presenters. To enhance their skills in both general library work and archival work to better serve patrons, staff will receive additional training by working with a library consultant and participate in workshops and professional development opportunities. The project will provide direct benefit to the Chilkat Indian Village.
