Bishop Indian Tribal Council

Bishop Indian Tribal Council will purchase books, instructional materials, office supplies, and other reading materials to support its Early Head Start, Head Start, Literacy in the Library, and Native language programming. Grant funds will also be used to support library staff attendance at national conferences to remain up to date on best practices in the field. Grant funds will provide the community with literacy-based activities, tribal history, cultural literature, and oral traditions. The grant will provide direct benefit to the Bishop Paiute Tribe and the surrounding community.
