Gun Lake Tribe

The Gun Lake Tribe will purchase books, Wi-Fi hotspots, subscribe to Hoopla and purchase new shelving to support its existing operations and to maintain core library services for its community. Activities will also include assisting tribal families in developing their own home libraries by supplying a book for children to keep at home. Staff will also maintain membership in the Southwest Michigan Library Cooperative which allows access to additional library materials, and the American Library Association and Association for Rural and Small Libraries. This project will improve access to information in a variety of formats for all Tribal Citizens and significantly improve and expand online programming for Tribal Citizens who cannot physically visit the Learning Center during its operating hours.
