Pueblo of Pojoaque

The Pueblo of Pojoaque will support the library circulation clerk’s salary to offer extended evening and weekend hours to support its existing operations and maintain core library services for its community. The library provides essential access to computers, the library’s wireless network, and after school study spaces. The extended hours are particularly valuable for the large number of working families who utilize the library. Notably, the library offers the only selection of books and films in the Pojoaque area, and within a 12-mile radius. Funding will also support travel for its library workforce to attend skill-enhancing professional conferences. The staff who participated in the conferences will report what they learned at a staff meeting. The project will provide direct benefit to Pojoaque community members within its project service area.
