Catawba Indian Nation
Log Number: NAB-253611-OLS-23
The Catawba Indian Nation Archives and Community Library will purchase books and materials to support its existing operations and to maintain core library services for its community. It will support salaries for the tribal archivist and community librarian to preserve and promote access to archival and library collections. Through the preservation of the cultural and historical materials related to the Catawba people, tribal community members can share the story of their ancestors, improve their literacy skills, and enhance engagement across all ages. Archival collections are available in person and through the Catawba Nation Archives Online. The project will provide direct benefit to tribal members as well as the Catawba community.
