Cahto Tribe of Laytonville Rancheria

Cahto Tribe of Laytonville Rancheria will support the development and delivery of interactive, hands-on cultural activities to the Tribal community with the purchase of culturally relevant materials, books, and program materials. The project will promote the community's interest in learning about the Cahto traditions and provide an opportunity for Tribal members to learn the Cahto language. Activities will be held outdoors or remotely because of the COVID-19 pandemic and include weekly Cahto Tribal Language lessons, recorded Digital Traditional Story Telling media, and classes on traditional women's skirt making and clacker making. The project will provide direct benefit to the Cahto Tribe of Laytonville Rancheria.
