Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation

The Research Library and Archive is a non-circulating academic library and archive within the sub-unit of Tamástslikt Cultural Institute. The library’s core collection includes materials that document the history and culture of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla people. To support preservation and expansion of the collection, they will acquire new materials, purchase new computers and software, and secure archival supplies that can ensure proper preservation of existing materials. To enhance their skills and learn best practices in library management, staff will participate in the annual conference of the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums.
