Pueblo of Pojoaque

The Pueblo of Pojoaque Public Library will extend its operating hours to better serve the community by remaining open to the public in the evenings and on weekends. The additional hours will allow working families to make better use of the library’s services. The library plans to implement a summer reading program designed to curb the loss of reading skills that often occurs when children are away from the classroom and not participating in formal literacy programs. Staff will participate in the New Mexico Library Association’s annual conference to sharpen their professional skills and learn about new services being offered by other libraries.
