United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians

The United Keetoowah Band Research Library and Archive has amassed the largest collection of Keetoowah historical information in the world. Library staff will organize, describe, electronically catalog, re-box, and re-folder the historical collection recently acquired from the estate of Frank J. Boudinot. Boudinot was the attorney for the tribe from 1898-1945 who chronicled an extremely turbulent time in the history of American Indians in Oklahoma. Once the collection is digitized, tribal members, researchers, students, and others with an interest in Keetoowah history will have access to an invaluable body of research material and information.
