Catawba Indian Nation

The Catawba Indian Nation Library and Community Archives is dedicated to preserving the rich culture and heritage of the Catawba Indian Nation. Staff will continue to preserve, promote, and maintain the archival and library collections, which are now jointly represented as the Community Resource Center, with the Catawba Digital Archives site providing additional resources. By making the archives and library resources easily accessible to broad audiences, the Center is increasing knowledge and awareness of the Catawba people for the surrounding communities. To learn from colleagues about best practices, the archivist and other cultural services staff will participate in the annual conference of the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums.
