Mohegan Tribe

The Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut will expand its library services by purchasing subscriptions to research databases and other resources that support patrons’ work in subject areas such as literature, history, archaeology, and other social sciences. An archivist/librarian and library assistant will ensure the collection’s proper use and full accessibility, working a combination of onsite and offsite to follow established health and safety protocols. At the same time, they plan to preserve for future generations a collection of historical paintings depicting Eastern Woodland natives, chief portraits, and scenes of the Pequot War at an offsite archival facility.
