Fort Independence Indian Reservation

The Fort Independence Community of Paiutes will expand and improve core library services by providing the community access to information and educational resources in a variety of formats. The library serves as steward of cultural and natural heritage by sharing a rich collection of historical and contemporary content. They plan to purchase new books and journals throughout the year to ensure the collection remains current and usable for patrons, now and for generations to come. They will focus particularly on materials relevant to Native American lifestyles, which is important for the tribe.
