This Basic grant maintains core library services for nine federally recognized tribes: Agdaagux Tribe of King Cove; Akutan Traditional Council; Atka IRA Council; Belkofski Village Council; False Pass Tribal Council; Nelson Lagoon Tribal Council; Nikolski IRA Council; Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska; and the Unga Tribal Council. Grant-funded activities include increasing opportunities for members to engage with cultural and educational programming such as classes and events in-house and virtually.
