Table Mountain Rancheria

Table Mountain Rancheria will launch a master planning initiative to guide the development of a museum and cultural center for the benefit of Tribal members, their families, and surrounding communities. The Tribe will enlist the expertise of an architect and professional conservator to assess its current collections and facilities and make recommendations on the needs, location, design, and operations of a future cultural facility. As part of the planning process, the project team will solicit and incorporate Tribal member input, and will visit neighboring cultural centers and museums to see how other California institutions house and exhibit Indigenous cultural collections. As a result, the Tribe will have a completed conceptual design and suite of updated planning and policy documents laying a path forward for building a future cultural center and museum.
