Table Mountain Rancheria

Table Mountain Rancheria will expand its museum collections storage capacity to enhance its ability to safeguard Tribal culture and history. Project activities include acquiring a 40-foot insulated storage container and purchasing and installing the necessary shelving, lighting, temperature and humidity control systems and monitors, and security elements for the new space. Once completed, the project team will rehouse collections items in the new facility. This project will enhance the Tribe's curation and preservation practices, increase access to collections, and create much-needed additional space for the collections, helping to preserve and sustain traditional knowledge for the Tribe and cultural practitioners who visit and learn from the collections.
