Table Mountain Rancheria

Table Mountain Rancheria will complete the assembly and installation of traditional structures to be featured along the Tribe's Native Plant Trail at a historic Yokuts village site. The outdoor exhibit structures will be created using traditional methods in a hands-on community approach led by Native consultants who will demonstrate, teach, and supervise the community participants in the gathering, preparation, and assembly of materials. Through constructing traditional structures found in local Yokuts and Mono villages of the past, this project will reconnect the Tribal community with its culture, history, and languages. The completed outdoor exhibit will be an immersive and educational experience benefiting Tribal families and youth, as well as Native and non-Native visitors from Fresno County and beyond.
