Ninilchik Village

Ninilchik Village will implement a planning project that supports the development of the Tribe’s new cultural institution, the Q’eschił Heritage Center. Establishing a Tribally owned and operated museum and cultural center will enable Ninilchik Village to maintain and manage its own voice to educate and communicate its history, culture, and identity to the communities of the lower Kenai Peninsula region and beyond. Project funds will support staff as they develop policy and governance structure plans, launch heritage outreach efforts, and finalize exhibit design plans in preparation for the cultural center's construction.
