Kaw Nation

Kaw Nation will create an exhibition that will travel to sites such as museums, libraries, universities, and classrooms in Kansas and Missouri. This project will also support the development of new permanent exhibits at the Kanza Museum, including one focusing upon projectile points, a second on beading traditio s, and a third on how elders taught youth through storytelling. Another goal of this project is to protect artifacts on display at the museum from light damage by creating screen panels printed with scenes of the Kanza to cover museum windows.
