Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will begin the Mashpee Wampanoag Museum Assessment Project. The project will provide the Mashpee Wampanoag Museum Committee and the tribal council with an actionable implementation plan to protect and preserve the history of the tribe. A tribal Museum Assessment Coordinator will be hired to collect pertinent media and documentation from tribal and non-tribal sources related to the museum. Tribal museum committee members, after analyzing community ideas and operations options, will create a plan for the realistic and achievable programs, exhibits, and activities.
