Hopland Band of Pomo Indians

Log Number: MN-03-10-0035-10

The Hopland Band of Pomo Indians of California will begin the process to determine a three-year plan for the Central Pomo Museum and Cultural Center. The tribe recognizes a compelling need to adequately preserve and maintain its history and culture and will seek to do this by engaging tribal elders, families, and youth in the strategic planning process. The planning process will help analyze community needs, set meaningful and measurable objectives, and define the future course of action desired by the tribal member community. The result will be a concrete action plan for implementing museum services that will benefit all tribal members by preserving critical cultural information and history and engaging elders and youth in lifelong learning.
