Miami Tribe of Oklahoma

The Miami Tribe of Oklahoma will develop educational resources and presentations about Myaamia language, culture, and history. Resources will include 1) the creation of a website, which will contain information and instructions about caring for family archives and objects, and 2) the production of publications about basic techniques in conservation and preservation, developed collaboratively with Miami University. Presentations will include workshops conducted by the Myaamia Heritage Museum and Archive's Archivist on the preservation of family archives and culturally significant heritage objects. This project will facilitate tribal access to information and items held by MHMA.
