Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin

The Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians will use grant funds to accomplish various activities in order to further develop the Migizi Cultural Resource Center into the central resource facility of the region for sharing Ojibwe cultural knowledge and history. The tribe will offer a series of educational and cultural programs by noted writers and storytellers, as well as provide a series of hands-on activities based upon the four seasons:  Niibin, Dagwaagin, Bibbon, and Ziigwan.  The collections at the center will be centralized and transferred to new compact shelving to be purchased with IMLS funding.
