Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation will make upgrades to its Tamastslikt Cultural Institute (TCI) that will support programming for its 25th anniversary in 2023. The project involves adding wired and wireless network access to its lobby and exhibit areas and developing new videos for use in exhibits and online. TCI will coordinate with the tribal office of information technology to purchase and install fiber cable, a network switch, and five separate wireless network access points throughout the building. The five new videos will be produced and evaluated in-house, using collection material, interviews, and video clips. Four of the videos will be uploaded to YouTube, referenced by QR code prompts within the exhibits, and available for viewing on visitor-owned devices. The fifth video will be added to an existing screen within the exhibit area that will be converted to a networked updatable screen.
