PA'I Foundation

In the spring of 2006, The PA'I Foundation will partner with Bishop Museum to plan and implement a week-long celebration of Native Hawaiian art called the Native Hawaiian Arts Festival. This festival, modeled after the Santa Fe Indian Market, will feature at least a dozen Native Hawaiian artists and art organizations. An offshoot of this festival will be a drive by the PA'I Foundation to feature approximately 50 Native Hawaiian artists who will hold workshops and have their works displayed in Honolulu art galleries. To promote these initiatives, a Web site, linked to the PA'I foundation's web page, will be designed to highlight the festival and the artists.
