Stockbridge-Munsee Community

The Arvid E. Miller Memorial Library Museum is the cultural repository for the Stockbridge Munsee Community. The Library Museum has three main focus areas: maintaining tribal paper and photo archives, exhibiting its material culture, and conducting cultural preservation activities. This project will hire a consultant to research and design an exhibit on Morgan Siding, a booming community located on the present reservation site. The Stockbridge Munsee Tribe will also host eight workshop sessions on traditional culture. In addition, the museum manager will attend the 2006 American Association of Museums annual conference to expand her professional capacity in museum services.
