Explore & More A Childrens Museum

Purpose: Reaching Families and Children The Explore & More museum will develop Cultures for Kids Program. This program will include a Culture Corner Exhibit, which will use immersion techniques to teach visitors about four world cultures. The second component of the program is an enhancement of the museum's Culture Days programming presented in schools. Teachers can select a specific culture and students have an opportunity to meet with museum staff who teach about the country using language, food, clothes, music, crafts, and other learning experiences. The Museum will also develop an interactive Web site on the Culture Corner exhibits and the Culture Day programs.
