National Liberty Ship Memorial/SS Job

Purpose: Reaching Families and Children The National Liberty Ship Memorial will create a troop berthing display aboard the Liberty Ship SS Jeremiah O'Brien. This display would be, by day, a static museum display demonstrating troop berthing aboard Liberty Ships. At night the area would be utilized for overnight berthing for children and adult participants in overnight education programs. Funding will be for the materials needed to recreate two World War II troop berthing compartments and an office for watchstanders.
