Historic Deerfield, Inc.

Purpose: Reaching Families and Children Historic Deerfield, Inc. will hire a program coordinator to produce interactive family and school programs at the children's Discovery Center which will open in November 2004. The center will be a home base for families, schools, and community groups visiting Historic Deerfield. Interactive programs and exhibits will inspire young people to explore the past while they hone critical thinking skills. The center will richly illustrate historical events to connect with everyday life encouraging a love of history and lifelong learning in its visitors.
