Purpose: Reaching Families and Children The Canterbury Shaker Village will infuse all site programming and interpretation with a greater sensitivity to the needs of families and children. By diversifying programs, visitors will have more satisfying experiences and will be inclined to visit again. Funding will also be used to make maximum use of the richly varied resources of the entire Village, including the unique architectural and landscape features of the site.
