Fine Arts Museum of The South at Mobile

Purpose: Reaching Families and Children The Mobile Museum of Art will develop an adult audio tour and a family audio tour for a selection of works from the permanent collection, and to add to the museum's Web site an online interactive exhibition with visual arts activities to support these tours. The museum's goal is to expand its existing technological resources to make the visual arts more accessible to children and families, and it will conduct an aggressive outreach program, focusing on introducing citizens who do not utilize the museum to its offerings, and demonstrating the value of the museum as an educational resource for families with school-age children.
