Louisiana Children's Museum

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services Louisiana children's Museum will create a "School-to-Career Community" to expand the museum's education capacity and services to local school children, a strategic goal of the museum. The museum will develop regionally themed learning exhibitions organized around cultural, physical, economic, and social pathways of learning. The "Cultural Pathway" will have a social studies focus and portray Louisiana. "Physical Pathways will focus on math and science, music and visual arts, and health and physical development. The "Economic Pathway" will focus on commerce and Social Pathways will focus on life skills and values. The pathways will be guided experiences allowing knowledge gained from one exhibit to build on another.
