St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum.

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum will use funding to implement "Welcome Aboard: Settling America", a multi-faceted, maritime interpretive imitative designed to educate a diverse population of children with differing perspectives and abilities. "Welcome Aboard" builds upon the museum's existing state-sponsored lesson plan Shipwreck in St. Augustine. The expansion provides an in-depth humanities experience for children and will be made available on CD-ROM through history museums, libraries, and educational facilities throughout the country. The program will also be transcribed into Braille for the visually impaired.
