Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Michigan State University Museum will expand current educational services to school districts through a virtual outreach program. Developed in association with the Regional Educational Media Centers of Michigan, the program will target the curricular and motivational needs of K-12 students. The core of the program will be "Virtual Field Trips" and "Virtual Conversations," which will provide face-to-face virtual interactions between students in classrooms and museum educators, curators, and community resources. With its rich and diverse collections, the Museum will offer programs on topics related to the study of people, cultures, nature, animal diversity, paleontology, geology, anthropology, ethnic studies, and community history and traditions.
