Pejebscot Historical Society

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Pejepscot Historical Society won an endowment to create a permanent education position. The grant will build on the education programming of the Society by supporting the conversion of one of its three exhibit galleries to a more flexible, multi-purpose space for educational services. It will support a partnership with community groups in creating collection-based programs and mini-exhibits. And, it will support an increase in the hours of the Society's education staffer from 20 to 28 hours per week. It will also support enhancement of its Web site and evaluation of its educational programs to build future capacity.
