New Hampshire Farm Museum, Inc.

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The New Hampshire Farm Museum will develop six curriculum units related to the history of agriculture in the state of New Hampshire. The curriculum will focus on several themes, including: " Farms, Forests, and Fields: The Changing Landscape " From Farm to Factory: Rural Workers and Migration to Urban Industrial Centers " Westward Expansion: New Hampshire Farmers on the Oregon Trail " The New Hampshire Farm: Supplying Local and Foreign Markets In addition, the Museum will design self-guided tours to facilitate family learning and workshops for both adult and youth audiences. The goal of the program is aimed at improving museum experiences for school aged children.
