Hayward Area Historical Society Museum

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Crossroads project is a collaborative effort between the Hayward Area Historical Society, three local school districts, California State University Hayward, and other community partners to enhance the teaching and learning of history and social studies in Hayward area elementary schools. With the assistance of teachers, district personnel, university historians, scholars, community advisors, and interns, HAHS staff will develop a series of educational resources (Web site, classroom kits, booklets, and in-class presentations) that meet local and state curriculum standards.
