Grout Museum of History & Science

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Grout Museum District will expand its local school programming by providing a weeklong Museum School to over 1,000 third grade students in Waterloo and Cedar Falls public school districts. The Program's primary goal is to offer students, their families, and teachers an experience with local history that brings the stories of their community to life, provides opportunities for applying math, science, and language basics to real-world situations, and expand interest, enthusiasm, and understanding of how their hometown fits into the larger world.
