Round Lake Area Park District Prairie Grass Nature Museum

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Round Lake Area Park District Prairie Grass Nature Museum will bring the native forest and animals into the Nature Museum. An interactive diorama will be created that includes flora and fauna indigenous to Northern Illinois. Movable exhibition cases will be taken into the community along with curriculum for school teachers and follow-up activities for students. The dual use of the exhibit will enable the museum to double the number of viewers and expand the nature museum's educational services.
