Mattress Factory

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Mattress Factory (MF) will expand its educational services thereby enabling it to achieve goals outlined in the Mattress Factory Strategic Plan 2002-2007. Grant funding will help the MF to increase the number of elementary, middle school, and high school students, and teachers (and families) served by the education department. The funding will be used to: -- Acquire materials and equipment for the MF's Learning Center -- Produce an Educator's Curriculum Guide and a Family Guide to the Permanent Collection -- Develop a Web-based education program that will reach teachers and students around the country. The MF's goal with this program is to create an exciting Web component for K-12 teachers and students and market the Web site and educational materials to as wide an audience as possible.
