Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services Partnering with Minneapolis area elementary schools and families of students, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum will develop a project to support improved achievement of at-risk urban children in their critical first year at school. The project will address school district needs, including: enrich curriculum of all-day kindergarteners with hands-on learning; assist teachers with developing skills in science teaching and in using science to teach basic skills in language arts and math; and increase family involvement in student education.
