Orland E. White Arboretum

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Blandy Experimental Farm will develop and implement "Enhancing the School Programs at the State Arboretum of Virginia" that will help the farm accomplish their identified goals in the 2002 Education master Plan. The program will implement an array of pre- and post-program activities, offer a "Pick a Pack" program of self-guided activities for children and families, and evaluate all program components with outcome-based evaluation strategies. The new programs will increase environmental literacy for all visitors.
