Tallahassee Museum

Purpose: Expanding Educational Services The Tallahassee Museum will develop a new Web site to connect the general public, families, students, and teachers with the museum's programs, exhibits, collections, and research. The site will provide interactive access to an extensive range and depth of Museum content including web cams of several living exhibits, on-line collections, and an educational section with curriculum materials, reading lists, home-based learning activities, and links to other appropriate educational resources. A key component of the educational materials will be an interactive collection of six animated/comic book "Learning Adventures," designed for families and school children, grades 3- 7.
