EdVenture (EdVenture Children's Museum)

EdVenture, along with the other five children’s museums in South Carolina, will increase the capacity of children’s museums to be community anchors in early literacy and school readiness. Together, this coalition of six museums will 1) support children’s museums in their efforts to reach families with young children living in poverty, 2) provide pop-up early literacy exhibits for each partner for community outreach, 3) evaluate the effectiveness of this model in order to promote replication by other children’s museums nationally, and 4) disseminate strategies, techniques, tools, and findings to the museum field.
