Partners for Public Good

Partnership for Public Good will work in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services to explore the full scope of capacity-building programs available to the museum field. Through focused research, including surveys and interviews, PPG will gather comprehensive information to identify needs for capacity building support, identify potential gaps in the suite of current capacity-building offerings, and identify new opportunities and areas for growth. The market analysis and assessment will encompass not only programs that IMLS has supported but also those offered by other entities for the museum sector, or similar programs that may have transferrable models or new approaches from sectors outside the museum field. A final report will include an analysis of the data collection, a prioritization of key findings, and recommendations for the museum field.
