Association of Academic Museums and Galleries

The Association of Academic Museums and Galleries (AAMG) will collaborate with the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management, Northwestern University, to develop and present a week-long Academic Museum Leadership Seminar (AMLS) to be held in the summer of 2014. The seminar will be open by application to academic museum directors, associate/deputy directors, director/curators, curators, and other senior-level museum professionals working in and committed to leadership positions in academic museums of all genres. The goal of AMLS is to provide academic museum leadership training that will strengthen the ability of academic museum leaders to fulfill their institutions' missions and meet the challenges and needs of their on- and off-campus communities by engaging the nation's top experts in the fields of business and nonprofit management.
