The Nevada State Museum will re-house its archaeological and ethnographic collections and digitize the museum's Navajo weavings and southwestern ceramics. An upgrade to their technology infrastructure will enable the online availability to their digital archive and allow the expansion of public access for research and public education. The project will develop a foundation for the museum to integrate, update, and expand existing databases with a goal of having all collection information in a unified and accessible data archive, expand artifact photography and online access, and make the collections available for research and public education.
