Molly Brown House Museum

Historic Denver will focus on collections care for its fashion collection of over 2,800 pieces documenting the life of Molly Brown between 1867 and 1932. The museum will deaccession items outside the scope of the museum's collection policy, archivally re-house the collection to stabilize items, move the collection to improved offsite storage facilities, and create a comprehensive digital inventory of the fashion collection. This project will help the museum preserve a collection that is integral to the life of Molly Brown and helps tell the important story of the evolving role of women in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
